Week 3 Tatting Project - done!

So, I've completed my third tatting project so far. And though I'm not perfectly happy with it, I guess it's not bad for a beginner. :)

It took me two tries to get the swans into shape (which basically means there's two totally destroyed swans sitting on my workspace). The pattern seems simple enough, but I just can't seem to get the tension right so far. More work to be done, I guess! But it looks kind of nice, doesn't it?

Today's project, though, is to finish up the Shakti Shorts by Tara Stiles and Wool And The Gang. I will not gush over WATG here, but, I am in love with their products. Though it is kind of (really) expensive to get them from Singapore because of the currency conversion and the really costly delivery charges. Best thing though, I usually get what I order WITHIN THE WEEK! How awesome is that???

Oh oh oh, and since I had to put on some makeup for a professional photo, I decided to go crazy with the selfies. LOL.

Tatting and makeup

So, I've just had my third tatting lesson today. Today's pattern: Swan! Or should I say, swans. With water grass. This should be fun. Though I'm exhausted after a whole day out *cue whining*, it's always fun and exciting to work on new projects. Which probably explains why I have no less than 6 half-finished knitting projects just waiting for me to finish them. The next one to be finished should, according to my (mental) schedule, be done by Friday night. And then, I will try to bribe my sister into helping me model them. Muahahaha. *cue evil laughter*

And did I mention how much I love Innisfree? Here's how much I do, even when I'm broke:

(I apparently can't or do not know how to link to Instagram. So much for me thinking that I'm still young.)
